Chef Barbieri’s 4 Hotel Returns to Sky This September

The acclaimed Italian chef, Bruno Barbieri, returns to our screens with a fresh season of his hit show, 4 Hotel. Starting September 1st, Sky and NOW TV viewers can enjoy brand new episodes of this original Sky production by Banijay Italia. The competition, featuring hotels in some of Italy’s most enchanting locations, will showcase the best of Italian hospitality. This year’s journey takes us to the Versilia Coast, the Sorrentine Peninsula, Lake Garda, Chianti, the Marche region, Val Rendena in Trentino, the Tuscia region, and Palermo. All episodes were filmed before the COVID-19 lockdown. Eight new episodes, airing every Tuesday at 9:15 PM on Sky Uno (channel 108, digital terrestrial channel 455), will be available on demand via SkyGo, accessible on smartphones, tablets, and PCs, even within the European Union, and streamed on NOW TV. Hotels of varying price points and categories will vie for the title, highlighting their unique charms and features. The winning formula that made this program a classic remains: competitors, also colleagues, spend a day and night at each other’s establishments under the discerning eye of the seasoned hospitality expert, Chef Barbieri. After checking in, the Michelin-starred chef personally assesses each hotel’s welcome, style, cleanliness, services, and overall hospitality. Following breakfast and check-out, each competitor rates the others on a scale of 0 to 10 in four categories: location, room, services, and price. Barbieri, a worldly traveler with refined taste, acts as host, guide, observer, and judge. His extensive travel experience, born of both work and passion, has made him an expert in hotel accommodations. Throughout the episodes, Barbieri’s witty and insightful commentary captures the challenges faced by hoteliers, testing their problem-solving skills and customer focus. His judgment, combined with the competitors’ scores, determines the winner, who receives a cash prize to reinvest in their business. As a prelude to the new episodes, Sky Uno+1 (channel 109) will re-air all episodes from the first two seasons of Bruno Barbieri’s 4 Hotel from August 29th to September 1st.
