Stylophonic’s Fifth Studio Album, “We Are,” Drops June 8th

The acclaimed European DJ and producer, Stefano Fontana, known professionally as Stylophonic, is set to release his highly anticipated fifth studio album, “We Are,” on June 8th. This marks a significant return to his roots for the artist, whose hits like “Baby Beat Box” and “Soul Reply” have defined the Italian electronic and club scene for years, captivating millions since the 2000s. Having collaborated with fashion giants such as Adidas, MTV, Coca-Cola, and Dolce & Gabbana, as well as pop icons including Jovanotti (on “Buon Sangue”) and Giuliano Sangiorgi, Stylophonic’s influence extends far beyond dance floors. Recorded in New York City’s legendary Bass Hit Studios – a significant personal achievement for the artist – the album features the Bronx-born funk vocalist Kena Anae. Mixed by the legendary Dave Darlington, whose credits include work with Sting, Bob Sinclair, and Masters at Work, “We Are” (Beat Mansion Records / Universal Music) represents a departure from his previous club-centric release, “Jam the House.” It’s a blend of house, funk, Detroit techno, and hip-hop sensibilities, reflecting Stylophonic’s diverse musical tastes and production skills. The album’s lead single, “Imagination Funk Funk Funk,” launches internationally on May 18th via Your Army Music Promotion and will be available on all major streaming platforms and digital download services. Fontana states, “I’m incredibly proud of this album; its stylistic fusion truly encapsulates my essence as both a producer and DJ. Working in New York with Kena Anae and Dave Darlington—one of the most influential sound engineers in the New York house music scene for the last three decades—has been a dream come true.”
