Achille Lauro’s New Single, “Maleducata,” to Premiere in “Baby” Season 3

The Roman artist Achille Lauro has announced the upcoming release of his new single, “Maleducata” (“Ill-Mannered”), slated for September 17th. However, fans will get a sneak peek as the track serves as the soundtrack for the highly anticipated third season of Netflix’s “Baby” series. Inspired by the notorious “baby squillo” scandal in Rome’s Parioli district, “Baby” follows the lives of two teenage girls navigating the complexities of prostitution and the high-society families they serve. Returning cast members include Benedetta Porcaroli as Chiara Altieri/Emma, Alice Pagani as Ludovica Storti/Desirèe, and Riccardo Mandolini as Damiano Younes, alongside Isabella Ferrari, Claudia Pandolfi, and Max Tortora. “Maleducata” follows Lauro’s March 16th release, “Bam Bam Twist,” and his recent album, “1990,” a nostalgic tribute to the 1990s, released a month prior. This new single joins Levante’s “Altarboy, Vertigine,” previously featured in the show’s teaser. A short teaser on Lauro De Marinis’ Instagram story featured the phrase, “I always want you like this, ill-mannered.” Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, Lauro’s October 2020 tour has been postponed to 2021, with rescheduled dates in Milan (October 16th), Venaria Reale (October 18th), Cesena (October 21st), Naples (October 23rd), Florence (October 26th), and Rome (October 29th and 30th). Previously purchased tickets remain valid for the 2021 shows. The sultry, seductive dance moves of Lauro’s “Bam Bam Twist” will require a bit more patience before they return to the stage.
