The Voice of Italy Knockouts Begin Tonight on Rai2

Tonight, Thursday, April 19th, at 9:20 PM, the intense Knock Out rounds of The Voice of Italy 2018 commence on Rai2, hosted by Costantino della Gherardesca. Al Bano, J-Ax, Francesco Renga, and Cristina Scabbia will select the first semi-finalists in this cutthroat competition. Each coach divides their team into three groups of four, assigning a song to each contestant. Following the performances, a difficult decision awaits: only one singer from each quartet will survive their coach’s selection. Three successful contestants from each team advance directly to the Battle rounds. However, those initially eliminated still have a chance for redemption. Coaches can employ the “Steal” option to recruit a eliminated contestant from another team, leading to multiple steals throughout the Knockout stage. Team Al Bano consists of Cinzia Carreri (28, Mantua), Dalise (33, Rome), Aurelio Fierro JR (41, Naples), and Tekemaya (Francesco Bovino, 41, Lecce). J-Ax’s team includes: Group 1: Ferdinando Biondi Vega (30, Rome), Riccardo Giacomini (27, Cagliari), Angelica Ibba (16, Cagliari), and Angelica Peroni (23, Verona); and Group 2: Rosy Castello (19, Ragusa), Antonio Licari (18, Marsala), Andrea Tramacere (19, Rovigo), and Deborah Xhako (20, Rome). Francesco Renga’s team comprises: Group 1: Antonello Carozza (32, Campobasso), Mirco Pio Coniglio (21, Bergamo), Virginia Mellino (18, Livorno), and Giovanni Saccà (23, Messina); and Group 2: Laura Ciriaco (33, Milan), Daniele Gentile (18, Bari), Alberto Lionetti (18, Turin), and Asia Sagripanti (19, Pordenone). Cristina Scabbia’s team features Elisabetta Eneh (31, Cosenza), Claudia Illari (23, Rome), Antonio Marino (35, Naples), and Sabrina Rocco (19, Naples). Gino Castaldo and Ema Stokholma, along with the “Back2Back” listening group, provide commentary from Rai Radio2, the official radio partner of “The Voice of Italy.”
